About

Plasteri derives from my love of art, design, history, and of course plaster.  (Exploring new places and outdoor farmers markets are two loves as well.) Such a phenomenal material but yet so finicky at times. The urban realm is another great passion and the firm I work for somehow manages to miraculously encompass all of these interests and passions. Master of Plaster is a firm like no other, grown from the most prestigious avenues and assisting with not only preserving the most stunning Historical Structures in the States but also in helping develop some of the most artistic expressions of our time.  I adore this company and the people that comprise the team.  And I hope to share all of our explorations and projects with you as we continue to work with some of the most intriguing and eclectic clients out there!

After graduating from Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture I went on to pursue a Master’s in Urban Design with a specialization in Historic Preservation.  This journey led me to completing my studies in Dublin, Ireland at UCD where I was first exposed – on a large scale – to Georgian Architecture.  I immediately fell in love with the stunning ornamental plaster designs that covered almost every interior of these Georgian structures. Ever since that time I have been studying & reading & researching about the artisans of this era and have since thus moved back to the States and started working for Master of Plaster Finishing Systems in an attempt to assist others in saving their plaster interiors as well as in creating new designs for clients who have a shared love of the art of the plasterer. My greatest hope is that my affection for this art form will help inspire others to save and restore and create anew.

All the Best
